The Center offers quality literacy based multi-cultural preschool classes for 100 low-income children and their families as well as full-time child care for low-income working parents, 5 days per week. We provide comprehensive family literacy services to increase parental understanding of the significance of early childhood development in impacting success in school and in life. We provide a link and resources for families to connect with and the necessary skills to successfully navigate within various community institutions, e.g., school systems, the business community, housing, health care and social services. Programs are also designed to build and expand the capacity for self-empowerment of each family. Additionally, we provide basic needs for families in the form of 10,000 pounds of food each month though our partnership with Community Food Share, and clothing, furniture and households goods though community donations.

Enrollment for Preschool and PreK begins in Feburary for the fall semester. Classes usually fill up by May. Full and part-time classes are available.
