Our adult education programs provide meaningful opportunities for parents and other adults to complete their high school education, improve and increase their employment opportunities and to increase their literacy skills for self and family empowerment. We provides opportunities for intergenerational learning. Each year the Center serves 100 adults in these programs, and 200 adults plus children in intergenerational programs.
The Family Learning Center partners with a variety of community-based and governmental agencies which include: YMCA, Boulder Rotary Clubs, Optimists Clubs, Centro Amsted, State Wide Parent Coalition, Shinning Waldorf School, Bridge School, d, “I Have a Dream” Foundation, Sister Carmen Center, Dental Aid, Community Food Share, Boulder Valley School District, Boulder County Social Services, Universities of Colorado, Naropa University, Boulder Health Department, Boulder County Mental Health, Boulder City Children Services, Boulder Council on Early Childhood Education, Boulder Valley Impact On Education, Boulder Chamber of Commerce as well as other community organizations.
